Carter loves to read stories at night before bedtime.
He usually gets stuck on one book for about a month and memorizes the words
We have been reading a book called
What do you do with a tail like this?
It shows different parts animals bodies and you have to guess who's nose, tail or eyes of the animal. Carter knows every animal and what the body part does as well. We were reading last night and he told me that an elephant's trunk was a platypus' and then started to laugh like he just told me the funniest joke! Now he keeps pretending that the animals are different ones than they actually are and then he makes himself laugh! Haha :)
I took him to get dog food at the pet store last week.
He asked if we could see the kitty cats. He walked up to them and said
"Hi kitty, my name Carter!" (it was so cute!)
I decided to give up on potty training on Friday. He just was having such a hard time! Poor kid! A couple of weeks ago Carter pooped on the floor and then asked for a new toy!
We have been trying to bribe him with a new priz every time he poops 3 times in a row on the potty without an accident.
I just figured that he wasn't ready after all.
Starting Saturday morning he told me first thing in the morning that he had to go poop! Since then he has only gone on the potty! I guess he had to just decide to do it himself!
I think it is safe to say that he is potty trained!
He is growing so fast and changing everyday! It is so fun to listen to all the things he comes up with and watch him learn new things as well!
God intended the family to be the center of life! Nothing else you pursue in life can give you that renewal, pride, and joy!

omg soo cute! caisen is finally starting to do things that crack himself up like squeeze his stuffed animals or act like the wrong animal i asked him to act like. your little carter is adorable!!!
